1.Giới thiệu chung
TOEIC = stands for Test of English for International Communication. Khác với Toefl có thiên hướng về học thuật và campus environment, TOEIC kiểm tra khả năng tiếng Anh trong môi trường làm việc quốc tế. Nội dung của bài thi TOEIC rất thực tế và thực dụng đối với những người đã, đang và sẽ đi làm trong môi trường công ty nước ngoài. Bài thi TOEIC là một tổ hợp các tình huống có thể gặp trong môi trường công ty, vì thế, nếu chúng ta nắm bắt được các tình huống này thì chúng ta hoàn toàn có thể chủ động trong rất nhiều tình huống trong thực tế. Có thể kể ra một vài tình huống: interview, problem discussion, conference, orientation, company retreat, weather bulletin, advertising, purchasing, order processing, merchandise processing, fax, corporate mails, proposal deadline extended, gossip at office, travel by air, travel by ferry, weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly reports, meetings, pickups, assignments, news bulletin, promotion, everyday conversation at office, and so on.
2.Về bài thi TOEIC mới
Sau một thời gian nghiên cứu, Viện Khảo thí Giáo dục Hoa Kỳ (ETS) đã thiết kế lại bài thi TOEIC. Bài thi TOEIC mới vẫn mang các đặc trưng của bài thi TOEIC cũ với thời gian thi, hình thức tổ chức thi và mức độ khó của đề thi không thay đổi. Thang điểm của bài thi TOEIC mới vẫn giữ nguyên và điểm số của hai bài thi TOEIC cũ và mới hoàn toàn tương thích nhau.
Ngày 1 tháng 7 năm 2009, bài thi TOEIC mới (TOEIC re-designed) sẽ chính thức được giới thiệu và đưa vào sử dụng tại Việt Nam. Trong thời gian đầu áp dụng, từ 1 tháng 7 năm 2009 đến hết tháng 12 năm 2009, bài thi TOEIC (classic) và TOEIC mới (re-designed) vẫn sẽ được tổ chức song song và đến năm 2010 sẽ chỉ duy nhất áp dụng bài thi TOEIC mới và được hiểu là bài thi TOEIC.
Điểm mới của bài thi TOEIC?

Việc đánh giá khả năng ngôn ngữ trong bài thi TOEIC mới được cải tiến bằng hệ thống câu hỏi phản ánh các ngữ cảnh cụ thể trong môi trường làm việc quốc tế hiện đại. Không phải tất cả các câu hỏi đều thay đổi, trong một số tình huống, thí sinh có cơ hội chứng minh khả năng ngôn ngữ của mình bằng cách lựa chọn câu trả lời phù hợp nhất với ngữ cảnh; nói một cách khác, bài thi sẽ đánh giá tốt hơn phản ứng của thí sinh trong ngữ cảnh cụ thể tại nơi làm việc.

Bên cạnh đó, ETS tiếp tục duy trì tính chính xác và chất lượng của chương trình TOEIC nguyên bản. Thang điểm TOEIC vẫn không thay đổi (từ 5 đến 495 điểm cho mỗi phần thi Nghe hiểu và Đọc hiểu). Mức độ khó của bài thi TOEIC vẫn được giữ nguyên. Nhiều loại câu hỏi cũng không thay đổi.

Điểm khác biệt của bài thi TOEIC mới?

Phần nghe hiểu có 4 sự thay đổi chính:

- Giảm số câu hỏi hình ảnh trong phần 1

- Câu hỏi không chỉ được viết mà còn được đọc qua băng casset trong phần 3 (Hội thoại) và phần 4 (Cuộc nói chuyện ngắn)

- Thay các câu hỏi riêng lẻ bằng nhóm các câu hỏi trong phần 3 (Hội thoại ngắn)

- Sử dụng giọng đọc tiếng Anh với các ngữ âm khác nhau, như: Anh - Mỹ, Anh – Anh, Anh – Canada và Anh – Úc.

Phần nghe hiểu có 3 sự thay đổi chính:

- Lược bỏ các câu hỏi của phần 6 (Tìm lỗi trong câu)

- Thêm loại câu hỏi Hoàn thành đoạn văn (Phần 6)

- Gộp nhóm câu hỏi đọc hiểu dựa trên 2 đoạn văn có chủ đề liên quan (Phần 7)

Ngoài ra, còn có thêm một sự thay đổi khác nữa về ngữ âm trong phần nghe hiểu. Sẽ có một số ví dụ về giọng Anh - Mỹ (Bắc Mỹ), giọng Anh – Canada, giọng Anh – Anh và giọng Anh – Úc. Những ngữ âm này xuất hiện không đáng kể nhưng chúng phản ánh những kiểu giọng tiếng Anh khác nhau đã được đào tạo và sử dung trong môi trường làm việc quốc tế. Với những thay đổi này, giá trị của TOEIC ngày càng được củng cố với vai trò là một Chương trình đánh giá khả năng giao tiếp trong môi trường quốc tế.

Nghe hiểu

1. Câu hỏi hình ảnh: 20 câu (cũ) >< Câu hỏi hình ảnh:10 câu (mới)

2. Hỏi và trả lời: 30 câu (cũ) >< Hỏi và trả lời: 30 câu (mới)

3. Hội thoại ngắn: 30 câu (30 đoạn hội thoại, mỗi đoạn hội thoại có một câu hỏi tương ứng) (cũ) >< Hội thoai: 30 câu (10 đoạn hội thoại, mỗi đoạn có 3 câu hỏi) (mới)

4. Cuộc nói chuyện ngắn: 20 câu (có từ 6 đến 9 đoạn, tương ứng từ 2 đến 4 câu hỏi cho mỗi đoạn) (cũ) >< Cuộc nói chuyện ngắn: 30 câu hỏi (10 đoạn , mỗi đoạn có 3 câu hỏi) (mới)


Đọc hiểu

5. Hoàn thành câu: 40 câu (cũ) >< Hoàn thành câu: 40 câu (mới)

6. Tìm lỗi trong câu: 20 câu (cũ) >< Hoàn thành đoạn văn: 12 câu hỏi (gồm 4 đoạn văn, mỗi đoạn 3 câu hỏi tương ứng) (mới)

7. Đọc hiểu: 40 câu (cũ) >< Đọc hiểu: 48 câu (đoạn đơn: 28 câu, đoạn kép: 20 câu) (mới)

Công cụ đánh giá chính xác tiếng Anh trong môi trường kinh doanh

Bài thi TOEIC mới phản ánh các phong cách tiếng Anh trong môi trường kinh doanh toàn cầu và chú trọng đến các ngữ cảnh ngôn ngữ cụ thể. Chính vì vậy đòi hỏi người học phải có phương pháp tổng hợp và khả năng nhận biết, tích hợp thông tin.

Bài thi TOEIC mới vẫn giữ nguyên những thông số cơ bản nhất:

- Thời gian thi: 2 giờ

Nghe hiểu: 45 phút

Đọc hiểu: 75 phút

- Số lượng câu hỏi: 200 câu

Nghe hiểu: 100 câu

Đọc hiểu: 100 câu

- Thí sinh sử dụng giấy và bút chỉ để làm bài

- Mức độ khó của bài thi TOEIC không đổi

- Thang điểm TOEIC vẫn giữ nguyên

Mình cũng thấy giáo trình Market Leader rất hay.:) Nói chung là giáo trình được phân chia rất rõ ràng cho từng kỹ năng. Phần Vocab thì rất ổn.

Mình tập hợp lại toàn bộ tư liệu về Toeic trên mạng.
Đúng là mình có sử dụng một số link của các bạn nhưng chỉ một số file. Nhiều file của các bạn link rapidshare hay filefactory hoặc link chết, mình thay lại hết. Như bộ Long man, howw to prepare, Book and CD preparation oxford... Mình đã bổ sung thêm nhiều và có upload hơn 1GB tài liệu mới.
Hầu hết của mình là mediafire.
Diễn đàn các bạn rất nhiều hữu ích. Mình sẽ đính chính thêm.

Bạn có thông tin chính thức về thêm 2 phần skills kia ko?Đợt trc mình cũng có nghe phong thanh thế thôi,xong có thông tin chính thức là từ tháng 7 mới áp dụng thay đổi 1 số phần trong 2 skills cũ thôi,chứ ko bố sung thêm 2 skills mới đâu.Nếu bạn có thông tin chính thức về cái nè thì share mình bít với ^_^
